Buy-to-let investors in Spain with beachfront properties could be encouraged by news that newlyweds are increasingly looking for sun, sea and sand. This is according to Simon Cooper, chief executive of On the Beach, who noted that good value destinations with guaranteed warm weather are proving popular picks for honeymooning couples. A recent poll by HolidayExtras.com found that 56 percent of those asked said that their dream honeymoon destination was a secluded beach abroad. The poll also found that more women preferred to spend their honeymoon on a beach than men, with 61 per cent of women. “For happy couples looking to book their honeymoon for this year and for 2012, we would suggest booking early in order to grab one of the many early booking discounts available,” Mr Cooper said. Meanwhile, buy-to-let investors in the country will be encouraged by recent comments made by a leading holiday firm. Premier Holidays has claimed that a city break is the perfect solution for individuals who are hoping to holiday closer to home.
